What is a reasonable turnaround time for emails?

This one’s been on my mind lately, and you’ll hear what our guest conversationalists had to say on the subject in Episode 30 this Sunday.

 

I’m pretty quick, but, as we talked about during our recording session, this has the effect of training people to expect a fast response.

 

What do you think – an hour? A day? Two days? More???

 

What is your system for getting things done?

As Lon Seidman pointed out in Episode 23, getting things done has evolved beyond the scope of… well, getting things done.

 

In fact, when you Google “GTD“, you’ll find links to the David Allen Company, where the terms are actually trademarked!

 

Lon likes David Allens’s system. I like Post-it notes and the Reminders app on my iPhone. How about you; what is your system for getting things done?

 

What are the biggest distractions in your day to day life?

One of the big things I’m noticing in our conversations so far is that for many of us, modern life has become a virtual “fun house” of light and sound and distraction.

 

(And to make matters worse, the fun house fits in your pocket. “iFunHouse, if you will.)

 

If we’re going to really confront the issue, I think the first step is to identify the source(s). SOOOO… What are the biggest distractions in your day to day life?
