Hosts
Duo Dickinson and I met in the mid seventies, while we were both students at at the Park School of Buffalo. Duo was a football player, and I weighed about 130 pounds soaking wet. He used to carry me around the library.
Duo is still carrying me. He’s creative, articulate, and, as our web designer Gary recently noted, incredibly good at “connecting the dots”.
As for me, I became a morning show cohost at 97 Rock in Buffalo after graduating from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and moved to Connecticut to become the “Barber” of Smith and Barber the Morning Show on WPLR in 1985.
I left to form Barber Productions in 2003, and joined WNPR four years later as an independent producer. The Real Life Survival Guide premiered on the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network in 2007.
