This week Steve Katz hooked us up with a corner table at Katz’s Deli in Woodbridge. (He also introduced us to 90 year old Ed Abrams, who you’ll hear in this week’s conversation.)
We also welcomed guest editors Jeanette Kuvin Oren, Nanci Sklar and Joel Sachs.
We talked about the latest disappointments in the news – and our favorite new technologies.

I truly enjoyed our #22 session. Bruce is a wonderful host. I learned a great deal listening to others and their thoughts. I will be a loyal follower in the future!

Great show, not that I am biased or anything like that. Brisket and cheese? Oy. How can a New York style jewish deli serve velveeta with the food of our ancestors? My entire family is spinning in the grave!
The discussion around the Penn State issue left me thinking that the exploitation of college athletes is so pervasive, that we only notice if there is something overtly evil in the news. These kids make millions for the universities and receive little in return often with lifetime injuries to show for the effort.
Nanci Sklar says
The show is fun, refreshing, and interesting.
The casual, conversational format paves the way for an easy back and forth flow as well as a natural, spontaneous sharing among the guests. i love the musical choices which serve to both conclude and connect the segments.
Looking forward to future episodes as we continue to accumulate tips which further contribute to the enjoyment and enhancement of our lives.

Ed, you were incredible. Jamie, I think I’ve just decided what to serve for Thanksgiving! (I like the college football idea, too.) And bless you Nanci; I choose all the music…
